    Kendriya Vidyalaya 5th BN SSB Champawat Kendriya Vidyalaya are the co-educational institute established in 1963 to provide educational facilities to the children of defense personnel, transferable central govt. employees, employees of autonomous bodies etc. These vidyalayas are run by KVS, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.There are more than 1256 Kendriya Vidyalayas all over India and abroad in which 1400632 students are studying with 54072 employees serving the Sangathan across India.     Kendriya Vidyalaya 5th BN SSB Champawat was established in the year 12.06.2020 in a temporary building from classes I to V. Currently Vidyalaya is running from classes I to IX for the current session 2024-25.

    Vidyalaya is located in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand. Champawat is a town and a Nagar Palika Parishad in Champawat district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is the administrative headquarters of Champawat district. The town was the former capital of the Kumaon Kingdom.

    Champawat is a beautiful city surrounded by green hills. It becomes more attractive during spring season as you can see it true scenic beauty. In a clear weather, you can also see the ice-capped mountains ranges of the great Himalaya.
