Kendriya Vidyalaya 5th BN SSB Champawat has started working in 12.06.2020 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. At present the Vidyalaya own school building is in construction. The Vidyalaya is running up to Class IX for the current session 2024-25.

KV Champawat is situated near 5th BN SSB Camp Champawat. The distance of the school from Champawat Bus Stand is nearly 03 km and nearest railway station (Tanakpur Railway Station) is nearly 74 km.
